Horoscopes for the week of October 11, 2020

Capricorn: Jan 20 – Feb 16

As business opens back up, it is sage advice to avail yourself to society, but take caution, as you don’t want to get infected.

Aquarius: Feb 16 – March 11

By the power of determination, you will gain harmony between your family and work life.

Pisces: March 11 – April 18

Beware; this week could bring strong, bonding friendships, or hate and distrust.

Aries: April 18 – May 13

When it comes to partners of any kind, stick to the old adage, “Out with the old, in with the new.”

Taurus: May 13 – June 21

Take care of yourself, your personal hygiene, and your emotions. Do something you haven’t done in a while.

Gemini: June 21 – July 20

This weekend, take a break and reflect on yourself. Take a break. You deserve it.

Cancer: July 20 – Aug 10

This week is full of social opportunities for you. Seize it when it comes.

Leo: Aug 10 – Sept 16

Check your schedule for this week like Santa, so you can have a relaxing weekend. Check your social media accounts; you might find someone who wants to meet with you, virtually, of course.

Virgo: Sept 16 – Oct 30

It is time to bring out the leader in you. Set project deadlines and work with a team to achieve them. But remember, patience is key.

Libra: Oct 30 – Nov 23

If you are struggling this week, count on your family to help you.

Scorpio: Nov 23 – Nov 29

The end of this week gives you a chance to detach from all that bothers you. This week count on your Libra friends. They will center your life, so you need not worry.

Ophiuchus: Nov 29 – Dec 17

Society is slowly but surely pulling in the reins of the horse that is pulling in your desire to change. You don’t have to do it all by yourself.

Sagittarius: Dec 17 – Jan 20

This week, you are definitely going to find someone who values the same as you.

Keeping You Engaged

Almost a year ago, I found out about Ophiuchus through a webcomic called Homestuck, a comic known for its trolls (and 2 cherubs, Caliborn and Calliope), representing each of the 13 horoscopes. As stated in the previous article, Ophiuchus can be represented by either a U with a tilde through it (Caliborn’s symbol), or simply a caduceus. However, due to immense hatred toward Caliborn, and NASA’s denial of there being a 13th zodiac sign, and the character’s represented symbol being little known, there are few sources that will provide an Ophiuchus horoscope. The other zodiac, represented by the same publisher is the Extended Zodiac, however, I am unwilling to share that with you for 3 reasons:

  1. It is made up
  2. There are 288 signs
  3. Only someone who was in the fandom would understand.

Theoretically, all zodiac is made up, but Ophiuchus can still be proven astrologically; the Babylonians had 13 zodiacal signs originally, but they wanted to rid one so that they could make for a monthly zodiac. The number 13, in fact, is not uncommon when talking about time. According to many news sources, there was a proposal for an “International Fixed Calendar” from Moses B Cotsworth. There was even a book-turned-movie by Richard Doetsch called the Thirteenth Hour.
