The HCC Times is a student-led newspaper dedicated to reflecting community values and delivering accurate information to students at Howard Community College and residents of Howard County. Our mission is to offer intellectually stimulating and engaging content that advances the discussions already unfolding within our community. We are committed to showcasing the diverse voices of our students and embracing innovative journalism practices.

Corrections Policy:

The HCC Times is resolutely dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity and transparency. We are committed to ensuring that all content, whether opinion or news, is meticulously fact-checked and accurate. While we aspire to complete accuracy, we recognize that occasional errors may occur.

When a correction is warranted, an editor will promptly update the article and include a clear explanation of the correction at the end of the piece.

In cases where the error is substantial, The HCC Times will issue a public correction through our social media platforms and include a formal editor’s note within the article.
