Spring break marked the halfway point for the Men’s lacrosse team’s regional season, here at HCC. These last few ‘normal season’ games would be the deciding point for their placement in the Spring 2026 Regional Championship through NJCAA. Between Head Coach Erik Foust reaching 100 wins with the HCC Dragons, an underdog wins in double overtime, and many of our players reaching the top of the region’s player standings, these games kept getting better. Below is a quick recap of these four ‘standard’ games.

Nassau VS Dragons: This is the game that Coach Foust led the Dragons to his 100th victory with HCC, with an interesting game overall ending with 12-9.
Dupage VS Dragons: Dragons have a rough start but take the win during the second overtime, with the score ending 11-10.
Harford VS Dragons: The team’s first loss since Spring Break, the Dragons held up a fight, but Harford was reading the Dragons’ move per move, with the game ending 21-9.
Riverhawks VS Dragons: Dragons come back from a loss with fire, leading their second-to-last home game of regionals with a dominating 31-5 score by the end.
Knights VS Dragons: The final game before the regional tournament, the dragons fought hard for the final 16-10 win.
Since those games, the HCC Dragons have won the Semifinals against the Essex team, ending with a 17-8 against the Knights. They then took the Regional Victory from Harford, from the underdog to the Regional Champions, in a wonderful showing of the sport. Wish the Dragons luck on the quickly upcoming Nationals Season, where hopefully their win streak will continue.
