Deja Grissom, Columnist
Deja Grissom is an English major at Howard Community College and hopes to transfer to Hampton University. Deja began writing stories at the age of six and her passion for the craft led her to The HCC Times. As a columnist, Deja discusses systemic issues such as racism, sexism and classism. Deja will also be a voice for marginalized groups as she uncovers their stories of bravery and courage. When she is not writing, Deja likes reading and spending time with family and friends.
