‘Rerolled’ Games is a cozy game store on Dobbin Road, focusing on a variety of analog (non-video) games. I met with Ana Lee, an HCC Alum and the owner of the store, for an interview to learn more about the local store.
Starting with some background on the store, it opened on December 6th, 2025. Ana and her husband decided to make the jump into the game store industry after a few years of debating, not even a month after ‘Gritty Goblin’, a local game store that was a huge part of the community, closed. Between the community and their personal loss of the community gaming space the ‘Gritty Goblin’ offered, it was an obvious choice to step up to help create a new space. Within the next 4 months, they found a space, stocked products, set up the space, and did all the pre-opening procedures that go into starting a business, which is a very impressive timeframe.

Ana, as someone who is neurodivergent herself, wants to create a space that is inclusive for all. The ‘Rerolled’ team prides itself on the family feel and safe, inclusive space they have created over the last few months since opening. Although a lot of administrative and business management stuff has been taking up the team’s time, Ana is so glad that nothing has gotten in the way of the original goal of making a positive community ‘third space’ for anyone who might need it or is just looking to find a great place to hang out.
They love that their customers have been teaching each other and keeping the great ‘vibes’ they started the store within mind. Every game night, people are finding new friends, having new experiences, and learning more about games they love. Ana wanted to make sure that the store and their events followed the ideal of “If you know something, you should share it”, and she is very happy that there are always people at the events to make sure everyone can participate and learn.

We also talked about some events ‘Rerolled’ hosts, which include many nights curated to specific games, ladies’ nights, bracket-based events (most of which are based around TCGs), and kids’ summer camps. Ana also talked about their newest event, which would be described as ‘lo-fi’ arts + craft nights, called “Art and PJs”. To learn more about the specific events and their dates, check out the event calendar on their website under ‘Rerolled’.

We finished our discussion talking about how she hopes to see more people, especially those who are not sure about what kinds of games they are interested in, at the game store and in the community. Even if you aren’t sure you want to play in a game, many people love teaching people who are simply observing while they play, or just having people observe. The organic sharing environment makes this game store an excellent place for people like HCC students.
I hope you all can stop by ‘Rerolled’ sometime and share in this positive community environment.
